The Salon Rahel separable from the main restaurant
and offering large windows onto Jägerstraße, can hold up to
20 persons and is wonderfully suited for dinners, small receptions and
intimate private parties.
VAU also has something special in reserve for events and receptions: its
Kohlenkeller (coal cellar) bar. Up to 60 persons
can be seated here. Lumps of East German brown coal lay like black books
in wall compartments, reminding of a past overcome. After all, Jägerstraße
was formerly part of East Berlin.
In summer, guests are also welcome to the 36 seats on the inner yard's
terrace The inner courtyard, reconstructed in the Art Nouveau style, provides
an attractive backdrop for cocktail and hors d'oeuvres receptions
